Service Agreement

Burt Home Maintenance agrees to service customer's Shore Station* hoist/hoists for the sum of $40.00 for the first hoist at a residence and $30.00 for each additional hoist at the same residence. Service will occur sometime between hoist coming out of water in the fall and before it goes in the water in the spring.

Service includes labor for the following:

1) Removal of winch wheel, dismantling of clutch, inspection, cleaning, lubricating, installation of new clutch parts if needed and re-assembly.
2) Inspection of winch and lubricating of chain/chains.
3) Inspection of visible cables and pulleys.
4) Inspection of general hoist condition.
5) For the following summer, all labor for repairs due to mechanical wear, if hoist is judged to be in good mechanical condition at the time of service (annual subscribers, no labor charge for covered repairs).

NOT included:

1) Costs for all parts.
2) Non-mechanical wear repairs: examples; wind/ice damage, improper use, improper installation/removal, rotten/rusted wood/metal, etc.
3) Electric motors and canopy vinyl's.
